Annotation of KB articles and user intents for machine learning. Linguistic and user experience (UX) analytics. Named entity recognition.

As an independent project, created flashcard sets for Dutch, German, and Spanish, all publicly available on the Brainscape platform.

Subject matter includes key words and phrases (English / foreign language) for elementary and intermediate language learners, songs, geography, and history.

Software company developing the Skytide Analytical Platform, which enabled the analysis of non-relational data using traditional BI (Business Intelligence) techniques without requiring transformation of the data into relational format.


Designed and created DITA-based product documents built around a comprehensive core vocabulary that featured extensive content reuse and tight integration with the Java- and XML-based product software.

Software company developing business technology optimization (BTO) software. Mercury IT Governance Center was built on a three-tier architecture containing an Oracle database.


Designed and created a documentation home page, a departmental style guide, and over 15 technical documents for two major releases. Implemented a controlled vocabulary as a “key concepts” document and semantic tool.

For the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California, researched, cataloged, and photographed computer artifacts and archival documents. Our current record-count is over 5000.

History of Afghanistan

For an economist and historian, edited a book titled A History of Afghanistan, which was written in English about his native country. The project involved improving the draft text, indexing the material, researching for additional information, and adding tables and images. The non-native English was also edited to improve language-learner features and linguistic and cultural transfers.

Python Programming Course

For the Pearson Charitable Foundation (Pearson plc) and the National Academy Foundation (NAF) we did a Python curriculum for high school students. The curriculum, available on the NAF website, features complete instructor lesson plans and numerous programming examples.
